Soko Bonge is an online marketplace where creators, teachers, composers, arrangers, poets, script writers, and educators can sell their digital resources directly to buyers.
Whether you create music scores, arrangements, CBE resources, lesson notes, PowerPoint presentations, tutorials, scripts, poems, or educational PDFs, Soko Bonge gives you a platform to reach customers across Kenya and beyond.

How to Upload Your Resources
Uploading on Soko Bonge is free.
Step 1
Create a seller account.
Step 2
Log in and click Add Product.
Step 3
Enter:
- Resource title
- Description
- Price
- Category
- Cover image
Step 4
Upload your file:
- Music score
- PowerPoint
- Educational resource
- Music theory note
Step 5
Publish your product.
Your resource is now available for customers to purchase.
How to Buy Resources
Step 1
Browse the available resources on Soko Bonge.
Step 2
Open the product you want, see the review Pages
Step 3
Click Buy Now or add to cart
Step 4
Enter your M-PESA number.
Step 5
Complete the M-PESA payment on your phone and wait for the pin prompt
Step 6
Once the payment is confirmed, a download button is availed for you to download your purchased resource. An email is also sent to your email with downloadable file of the purchased resource.
How Soko Bonge Earns
Soko Bonge only earns when a seller makes a sale.
For every successful sale:
- Seller receives 90%
- Soko Bonge receives 10%
Example:
If a resource sells for KES 1,000
- Seller earns KES 900
- Soko Bonge earns KES 100
This allows creators to keep most of their earnings while helping us maintain and improve the platform.
How Sellers Earn
Every time a customer purchases your resource:
- Payment is received through M-PESA.
- The sale is recorded automatically in your sales in My account.
- 90% of the sale amount is added to your Soko Bonge Wallet.
- Your wallet balance updates automatically.
You can track:
- Total earnings
- Available balance
- Sales history
- Withdrawal requests
from your seller dashboard/ My account.
Checking Your Earnings
To view your earnings:
Step 1
Log in to your account.
Step 2
Open My Wallet.
You will see:
- Available Balance
- Total Earnings
- Withdrawal Requests
- Transaction History
How to Withdraw Your Money
Step 1
Open My Wallet.
Step 2
Enter:
- M-PESA phone number
- Amount to withdraw
Step 3
Submit your withdrawal request.
Step 4
The Soko Bonge team reviews the request.
Step 5
Once approved, the money is sent to your M-PESA account.
